How to travel to Keukenhof from anywhere in the Netherlands

You can travel to Keukenhof by organized tour, but it is very easy to travel to Keukenhof by yourself by public transportation from all over the Netherlands.

It takes 2 simple steps:

1. Travel to Schiphol Airport
2. Transfer to the Keukenhof Express bus 858

Travel from any station in the Netherlands to the train station of Schiphol Airport. Follow the signs to the bus platform outside and locate the colorful Keukenhof Express Buses. The bus takes you in 30 min. to the Keukenhof and stops right outside the main entrance of Keukenhof. When you have visited Keukenhof you travel with the bus back to the Airport and take the train again.

Information on tickets

You can buy separate tickets for train, bus and entrance but there is also a combination ticket available.

Combination ticket includes:

• Return bus 858 Schiphol – Keukenhof
• Entrance ticket to Keukenhof

Travel times

• Bus 858 – Schiphol – Keukenhof
• Every 15 minutes and takes 30 min.

When traveling by train you have to buy your own train ticket next to the combination ticket.

Be aware that you can only take the Keukenhof Express bus during Keukenhof season so make sure you set the date between the end of March and mid May. The combination ticket can be bought at our Travel and Tours page.
