National Tulip Day 2015 in Amsterdam
Are you traveling to the Netherlands in January and do you love tulips? Make sure you visit the National Tulip day in Amsterdam on Saturday the 17th of January.
Every year the 3rd Saturday of January marks the start of the tulip season in the Netherlands. And this is celebrated with a Tulip festival on Dam Square in Amsterdam. More than 15.000 tulip lovers visit the pop up garden full with colorful blooming tulips. You can pick your own bunch of tulips or make wonderful photo’s of the blooming tulips in January.
Last year, lines were formed to enter the lovely garden in the center of Amsterdam. But with the music band and the people in traditional Dutch costumes it was fun to wait and see all the people between the tulips.
Come over to have a look on the 17th of January 2015. The pop up garden will be built in the morning and the opening of the garden will be at 1 p.m.
