Imagine seeing the flower fields as the majority of the tourist has left to their hotels in Amsterdam or surrounding cities. Bike around early in the morning and be at Keukenhof Garden just at opening time to enjoy the garden without the crowds.

Bed and Breakfast Madeleine is situated in the town center of Lisse, above one my favorite confectionery / Chocolaterie shop “Vermeer”! (Make sure you taste their delicious cakes and pastries!). They have two new completely renovated twin rooms in a warm and romantic ambiance.

Rooms

The rooms are provided with a luxurious 2 persons box spring, flatscreen tv with DVD player, dining table/ desk and private bathroom with shower and toilet. And there are free coffee and tea facilities, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. Breakfast can be ordered extra for €12,- per person. (Please make breakfast reservations at least one day ahead). There is free car parking and rental bikes are available for a surcharge.

Location

Schiphol is 20 km away and the beach of Noordwijk 13 km away. There is free parking for your car. And during flower season you can reach Lisse by bus from Schiphol Airport (from the stop of Keukenhof it is a leisure walk 10 min. walk)

At Bed and Breakfast Madeleine they speak Dutch, Spanish, English and German.

Make sure you book well in advance for the tulip season. This B&B will sell out quickly during the opening times of Keukenhof (end of March – to mid May).
