How to write Keukenhof?
Keukenhof season 2015 is unfortunately over. At Tulips in Holland we are looking back to a wonderful season with lots of interactions with visitors to the tulip fields. We get a lot of emails with questions about the Keukenhof and the surrounding flower fields.
The Dutch language is not an easy language for most people and I have seen lots of spellings variations of the word Keukenhof. For those people I am writing this blogpost. When spelling the name of Keukenhof wrong you won’t find the right information online. These are the variations that I came across:
[one_half]
- Keukenhoff
- Kuekenhof
- Keukenhoff
- Keukenhoof
- Keukenof
- Koekenhof
[/one_half]
[one_half_last]
- Kuekenhof
- Kuekenhof gardens
- Kukenhof
- Kenkenhof
- Keuckenhof
- Keukenho
[/one_half_last]
The only right name is Keukenhof or Keukenhof garden. Many people say Keukenhof gardens but it is actually one garden with surrounding flower fields that are not a part of Keukenhof.
