Weekly tulips and flower update 2023

One of the most frequently asked question here on TulipsinHolland.com is the question will the flowers be in bloom when I visit the Netherlands? The blooming of the tulips and other flowers depends strongly on the temperature during winter and springtime. Since 2010 TulipsinHolland.com brings you the weekly tulips and flower update on this blog and on Tripadvisor.com to provide you the up to date blooming status of the tulips in Holland, the flower fields and Keukenhof.

2024

We are looking forward to next spring season and we will start our weekly tulip updates from the beginning of March 2024.

2023

2023 was a regular blooming season with most of the flower fields in bloom by the end of April.

2022

After two long years of corona we celebrated season 2022 with a regular blooming season with most of the flower fields in bloom by the end of April.

2021

Unfortunately spring season 2021 was affected by corona. Just like in 2020 it wasn’t possible to travel to The Netherlands. Keukenhof was open for only 2 weekends for Dutch citizens as a corona testcase for outdoor events. Just after spring season the government allowed traveling abroad.

Spring season 2021 was a rare season with lots of cold temperatures until the beginning of April. Lots of sunshine in April followed by cold temperatures again. The flower fields were blooming late this spring and bloomed well into the month of May. All flower events were cancelled.

2020

Just 2 weeks before spring season 2020 corona came into our lives. Traveling was not allowed and all flower events were closed immediately.

Spring season 2020 was a regular blooming season where most of the flower fields were in bloom by the end of April.
