An estimated 21,000 visitors from both domestic and international locations attended the event. Around 4:30 PM, visitors plucked the last tulips, concluding the festive day on Museumplein.

Before the doors to the picking garden swung open, DJ Hardwell received a unique honor – the baptism of his tulip. This ‘dancing’ tulip, selected personally by the DJ, featured a red bloom with a yellow, fringed edge. The choice was symbolic, mirroring the tulip’s natural movements in the vase, a metaphor for growth and spontaneity.
Named Tulipa ‘Hardwell,’ this botanical marvel stood out with its fringed petals, sturdy stem, and a color palette that mirrored the energy and vibrancy associated with the DJ’s music and performances.
