Visiting Keukenhof from Schiphol Airport
When you have just a couple of hours (layover) is it possible to travel to Keukenhof? Yes, that is possible! Keukenhof is located just 30 min outside the airport and there is a direct express bus to it.
In 30 min the bus will take you to the Keukenhof and stops right outside the main entrance of Keukenhof. When you have visited Keukenhof you travel with the bus back to the Airport.
Travel times
- Bus 858 – Schiphol – Keukenhof
- Every 15 minutes and takes 30 min.
For exact travel times, maps etc. see the public transportation website. Select your departure address and set address to Keukenhof. Be aware that you can only take the Keukenhof Express bus during Keukenhof season so make sure you set the date between the end of March and mid May.

The combination ticket is sold at the bus stop of Schiphol Airport.
Be aware that during Easter Weekend and Parade Day large traffic jams can occur in both ways! Make sure that you don’t travel during these days when you have a layover (to much risk of missing your plane)
