Heading of the tulips – top of North Holland
Every year it is a terrible sight to see; the heading of the tulips. These flowers are grown for the bulbs and taking the head of the flower off, makes the bulb stronger. The heading of the flowers is done just after peak blooming, during a regular springtime this is done around the first week of May. Bulb farm Pennings de Bilt shared these two videos to show you how it is done
