Flower update week 7: Early to regular spring time
Until now we have a very mild winter in the Netherlands. If this weather continues we will heading for an early to regular springtime this year.
This means that based on the present weather, we expect to see some tulips in the fields in bloom around the second week of april. Be aware that this is an early estimate! Nature decides its own way, this time frame can be slightly earlier or later! It all depends on the weather in the next couple of weeks!
Before the blooming of the tulips you can expect to see the beautiful yellow daffodils and the pink, white and purple hyacinths in bloom. For tulips early in spring season you can visit the indoor tulip exhibition at Keukenhof.
