Meet and Greet, 21st of April
Last year I was invited by the Tourist Office of Noordwijkerhout to do a Meet and Greet for all the readers of the Tulips in Holland newsletter. And next Friday, the 21st of April between 2 Pm and 6 PM, we will do the same! I am at the Tourist Office of Noordwijkerhout (address: Dorpsstraat 8, 2211 GC Noordwijkerhout) to meet and greet you all.
There will be lots of festivities in this beautiful town. You can enjoy the flower mosaics in the town center, the little white church is completely decorated with beautiful flowers (A must see! See flower event in the White Church for more information), there will be music, street performance and on top of all you can watch the flower parade floats very up close when they are parked at the end of the afternoon in the town center. These are the same floats that will drive from Noordwijk to Haarlem on Saturday the 22nd. There will be snacks, ice-cream and many places to have dinner. Around 9 PM there will be an evening flower parade through town, accompanied by marching bands, lights and a festive atmosphere. And best of all it is less crowded than the parade on Saturday and all activities are free.
When you come over to meet me I have a small present for you as a thank you for reading this newsletter and blog. I love to hear where you are from and what you are planning to do in the Netherlands. If you have some questions I am happy to help. When you enter the tourist office and can’t find me just ask for Nienke or Tulips in Holland 🙂 Love to meet you all next Friday!

We will be arriving to Keukenhof 17 mei. Will we see any blooming tulpen?
Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for this blog where you are updating the tulips status. It is really helpful.
I would like to ask you one question, I am going to Amsterdam from 7 of May until 10 of May, what do you think about the tulips status by this time? I would like to know if most of them are going to be over or not.
Thank you very much and congratulations for your fantastic blog.
