
Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden

As visitors step into this floral wonderland, they are greeted by a mesmerizing sight: a sea of colorful tulips stretching as far as the eye can see. With a staggering 300,000 bulbs representing eight varieties of tulips, the garden transforms into a vibrant mosaic of hues, ranging from fiery reds and sunny yellows to soft pinks and pristine whites.
Surrounded by the towering peaks of the Zabarwan Range, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden offers visitors a panoramic backdrop of unparalleled beauty. Open: 9 A.M. – 7 P.M.
Ticket: 50 rupees for adults and 20 rupees for children under 12 (price 2015)
In 2015 there was a Kashmir Tulip Festival from 12 April through 14 April 2015 daily from 9 am to 7 pm. In addition to the flower exhibitions, visitors could also take part in cultural programs, taste traditional Kashmiri foods, purchase local handicrafts and more.
