Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is held in the North west corner of Washington state close to the cities of Mount Vernon and La Conner. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is held during the blooming of the flower fields around spring season, generally in April. The festival is designed as a driving tour. There is no specific location to watch but you can drive along the fields.
The fields belong to RoozenGaarde/ Washington Bulb Co., Inc. and Tulip Town. Just like in the Netherlands the fields rotate every year so have a look on the map to see where the fields are in bloom. You can both visit RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town they have display gardens for visitors. A wonderful place to photograph all the tulips.
During the festival al lot of activities are organized, see their blog for more information.
